LGBTQIA+
LGBTQIA is short for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual. This acronym is used to describe a community that do not conform to the heteronormative standard of being attracted to the opposite sex. LGBTQ individuals have a greater chance of being bullied, picked on, threatened and more if they do not adhere to heteronormative culture. Heteronormative culture is when people identify as the gender of the sex they were identified with at birth (cis-gender) and are heterosexual, meaning they are attracted to the opposite sex.
